Re-Open ALL the rest areas closed by the Baldachii administration on this states Highways
The rest areas on the highways need to be re-opened, this state is boosting it is open for buisness, just dont get tired or need to relieve yourself driving throught the state, because most of the rest areas are CLOSED and gated off. Truckers need places to rest, tourists need places to rest this state seems not to friendly to travelers needs

This is unkonwn to Tourists and they will not stop coming to Maine because a Rest Area is closed. Then, they have to get off the highway and spend monies at local business.

Prison inmates use to take pride in keeping Maine's rest areas, through out the state, clean and useable for citizens and visitors. Then the task was moved to the DOT to increase their work and "reduce" costs. That experiment has been an utter failure. Time to return the work to those with a proven record of success, and the ability to handle the task.

Lease the rest area to businesses for small places to buy food they have the restrooms they take care of them.
